FACILITATE INSIGHT was founded by Sada Naegelin in 2016. Sada is bilingual and bicultural with nearly 20 years of experience in community engagement, relationship management, and human-centered design. She holds a MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts. Equity and inclusion (E&I) inform her approach to consulting and facilitating. Through the lens of the neurology of E&I at work, Sada creates spaces and experiences that allow individuals to be their authentic selves, recognizing the diversity of experiences that make each of us unique.

  • City of Seattle

    Facilitate Insight worked with the City of Seattle Office of Sustainability and Environment to develop and implement an equity-focused educational program to support under-resourced and underserved populations to make their buildings more energy efficient. Through strategic outreach and partnership with community-based organizations, the program served over 30 organizations including nonprofits and other businesses serving BIPOC (black, indigenous and people of color) communities.

  • Open Signal - Community engagement workshops

    Sada Naegelin worked with Open Signal to design and facilitate community engagement workshops to foster productive collaboration between internal staff and community members. These workshops allowed staff and community to come together to align on common goals, find shared purpose, and identify concrete ways to work together.

  • De Las Mias - A healthy lifestyle platform for Latinas

    Facilitate Insight principal, Sada Naegelin, co-founded De Las Mías with her mom, Ana Consuelo Matiella. Using human-centered design and community engagement, De Las Mías was developed for Latinas by Latinas. Through design research and facilitated sessions with the Latina community, De Las Mías was created to meet the needs, motivators and pain points of Latinas to help them achieve a healthier lifestyle while celebrating their culture and food.
